The following are some players who have made their name in the top 10 rankings in this decade.

1. Novak Djokovic

The Australian Open 2011 was won by the Novak Djokovic. This win increased his ranking points and ultimately he was ranked to No. 1 spot in the men’s ranking for the first time in his career in 2011.

2. Andy Murray

The championship victory in the ATP World Tour Finals tournament made Murray the No. 1 player in the men’s ranking in November 2016 for the first time ever.

3. Roger Federer

Federer was ranked on No. 1 spot for the 3rd time in his career in July 2012 for consecutively 17 weeks. This is his best ranking of the current decade.

4. Rafael Nadal

Nadal was ranked on No. 1 position for the 2nd time in June 2010 for consecutively 56 weeks.

5. Stan Wawrinka

Wawrinka is one of the guys who made his name when the tennis was dominated by the “Big Four”. He made his name in 2014, when he won the Australian Open by beating Rafael Nadal. He also defeated Novak Djokovic in the quarter finals. This championship victory gave him the No.3 spot in the men’s ranking which is his highest ranking ever until today.

6. Marin Čilić

Marin Cilic is the player who is winning on more and more single titles and hence, boosting his ATP rank. He was ranked on No.6 spot in the men’s ranking in Nov 2016. He is also the winner of 2016 US Open.

7. Jo-Wilfried Tsonga

Tsonga is the semi finalist of 4 grand slam tournaments and he had won 14 single titles in his career. He also played against Novak Djokovic in the final of Australian Open 2008 and gave Djokovic his first grand slam ever. Tsonga is ranked No.5 in 2012 men’s ranking which is his best ranking until today.

8. Milos Raonic

This Canadian star is, now a day, enjoying the top ranking of his career. After playing the final of the 2016 Wimbledon, he got some huge points which boosted his ranking and he gained No. 3 spot in the men’s ATP ranking in Nov 2016.
